数字技术对农业机械化的影响

Impact of digital technologies on agricultural mechanization

摘要:

探索数字技术发展为农业机械化带来新的动能,助力加快实现农业现代化转型升级步伐。使用2013—2021年省(直辖市、区)面板数据,利用固定效应模型与中介模型从水平与规模两个方面探讨数字技术对农业机械化的影响,并进一步讨论农村人均受教育程度在数字技术对农业机械化影响中所具备的调节效应。研究表明:数字技术对农业机械化规模的影响系数为-0.471且显著,说明数字技术的发展会对农业机械化规模产生抑制作用;数字技术对农业机械化发展水平的影响系数为0.849且显著,说明数字技术的发展会促进农业机械化发展水平提升。这一结论在控制内生性与进行稳健性检验之后仍然成立。依据农业发展情况的不同,进行异质性分析,得出数字技术在农业不发达地区对农业机械化的影响显著,在农业发达地区则不显著;在机制检验方面,发现农村人均受教育程度的提升在数字技术对农业机械化发展水平与规模中均起到中介的作用;进一步分析发现,农村人均受教育程度在数字技术对农业机械化发展水平影响系数为-0.945 3且显著,说明其存在调节作用。

Abstract:

The development of digital technologies will bring new momentum to agricultural mechanization and help accelerate the pace of transformation and upgrading of agricultural modernization. Based on the panel data of provinces (municipalities and districts) from 2013 to 2021, this paper uses the fixed‑effect model and the mediating model to explore the impact of digital technology on agricultural mechanization from the aspects of level and scale, and further discusses the moderating effect of rural per capita education level on the impact of digital technology on agricultural mechanization. The impact coefficient of digital technology on the scale of agricultural mechanization is estimated to be -0.471 and significant, and the results show that it has an inhibitory effect, and the influence coefficient on the development level of agricultural mechanization is 0.849 and significant, and the results show that it has a promoting effect, which is still valid after controlling for endogeneity and robustness test. It is found that the improvement of per capita education level in rural areas plays an intermediary role in the development level and scale of agricultural mechanization by digital technology. Further analysis shows that the influence coefficient of rural per capita education level on the development level of agricultural mechanization by digital technology is -0.945 3 and significant, indicating that it has a moderating effect.
