Design of dairy farm breeding monitoring platform based on digital twin technology

Abstract: In order to address animal epidemics and mitigate the adverse effects of nonranch personnel on dairy farming production, a solution was proposed to build a digital twin dairy farm monitoring platform by incorporating digital twin technology according to the needs of the dairy farm. The platform was built based on the digital dairy twin farm model (DDTM), which consisted of three parts, namely, the geometric model (GM), the information model (IM), and the prediction model (PM) of the digital dairy farm. The 3ds MAX software was used for GM to geometrically model the buildings, cows, and equipments in the dairy farm, and ultimately to achieve the threedimensional visual effect of the dairy farm. For IM, the mapping between digital twin dairy farms and actual physical dairy farms was realized by means of specific twin identification system, remote data uploading and analysis. And for PM, a prediction model was used to predict the trend of temperature and humidity changes in the barn to guide the health and production of dairy cows. This comprehensive programme provided innovative ideas and practical references for the construction of future digital twin dairy farms, which will promote the sustainable development of digital livestock  and improve the efficiency of dairy farming.

摘要: 为应对动物疫情以及非牧场人员对奶牛养殖生产的不利影响,结合奶牛场的需求,采用数字孪生技术,提出构建数字孪生奶牛场养殖监控平台的方案。此平台基于数字孪生奶牛场模型(DDTM)搭建,DDTM由三部分组成,分别为数字奶牛场的几何模型GM、信息模型IM和预测模型PM。对于GM采用3ds MAX三维建模软件对奶牛场内的建筑、奶牛以及设备进行几何建模,最终实现奶牛场的三维可视化效果;对于IM通过特定孪生标识体系、远程数据上传以及解析等方法,实现数字孪生奶牛场与实际物理奶牛场之间的映射;对于PM利用预测模型预测养殖舍内温湿度变化趋势,指导奶牛的养殖健康和生产。这一综合方案为数字孪生奶牛场的建设提供创新的思路和实践参考,将促进数字畜牧的可持续发展、提高奶牛养殖的效益。
