农业机械化对农民增收的空间效应分析——基于农机跨区作业的视角

Analysis of spatial effect of agricultural mechanization on farmers income increase: Based on the perspective of crossregional operation of agricultural machinery

摘要: 农业机械化对促进农民增收具有重要贡献,但鲜有文献从农机跨区作业视角探究农业机械化对农民增收的空间溢出效应及时间异质性。基于农机跨区作业的客观事实,利用2006—2021年全国31个省域面板数据和空间杜宾模型实证分析农业机械化对农民增收的空间影响效应。研究表明,农业机械化能够促进本地农民增收,并且对邻近地区农民增收具有显著正向空间溢出效应;从农民收入来源结构看,农业机械化对农民经营性收入和工资性收入增长均具有显著正向空间溢出效应;农业机械化对农民增收的本地直接效应和空间溢出效应存在时间异质性,以2014年农机跨区作业开始萎缩为时间节点,2006—2013年农业机械化对农民增收的空间溢出效应要强于2014—2021年,而2006—2013年农业机械化对农民增收的本地直接效应要弱于2014—2021年。鉴于此,应加快农业生产全程机械化,稳步提升农机装备水平,完善农机本地作业和跨区作业的协同机制。

Abstract: Agricultural mechanization makes an important contribution to promoting farmers income increase, but little literature has explored the spatial spillover effect and time heterogeneity of agricultural mechanization on farmers income increase from the perspective of crossregional operation of agricultural machinery. Based on the objective fact of crossregional operation of agricultural machinery, this paper empirically analyzes the spatial impact effect of agricultural mechanization on farmers income growth by using panel data and spatial Durbin model from 31 provinces in China from 2006 to 2021. The results show that agricultural mechanization can promote local farmers income growth and has a significant positive spatial spillover effect on farmers income growth in neighboring areas. In terms of the structure of farmers income sources, agricultural mechanization has significant positive spatial spillover effects on the growth of both farmers business income and wage income. There is time heterogeneity in the local direct effect and spatial spillover effects of agricultural mechanization on farmers income growth. Taking the beginning of the contraction of interarea operations of agricultural machinery in 2014 as the time point, the spatial spillover effect of agricultural mechanization on farmers income growth is stronger in 2006—2013 than in 2014—2021, whereas the local direct effect of agricultural mechanization on farmers income growth is weaker in 2006—2013 than in 2014—2021. In view of this, the mechanization of the whole process of agricultural production should be accelerated, the level of agricultural equipment should be steadily raised, and the synergy mechanism between local and crossarea operations of agricultural machinery should be improved.
