Abstract:  In order to explore the contribution rate of agricultural mechanization in Guizhou Province to the increase of farmers income, a specific index system was constructed, the relevant statistical data of Guizhou Province from 2000 to 2019 were used to establish an improved C-D production function model and to measure the correlation coefficient, and the contribution rate of agricultural mechanization in Guizhou Province to the increase of farmers income from 2000 to 2019 were calculated. The empirical results showed that the contribution rate of agricultural mechanization in Guizhou to the increase of farmers income was 16.13%. It was between the contribution rate of 14.92% in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region （2004—2018） and 29.04% in Anhui Province （2005—2015） based on the same research method, which was at a relatively low level in the country. However, the total power of agricultural machinery, the sown area, and the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery played a positive role in the increase of farmers income in Guizhou Province. The use of pesticides hindered the increase of farmers income in Guizhou Province to a certain extent. In the future, therefore, according to the actual situation of Guizhou Province, reasonable subsidy policies and subsidy lists could be formulated to improve the total power of agricultural machinery effectively. Land transfers could be actively promoted and effectively employed, and the planting area could be orderly expanded. The comprehensive development of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery, and agriculture could be accelerated to improve green agriculture. The mountain farm machinery training and aftersales service should be done well to promote the highquality development of agricultural machinery in Guizhou Province and increase farmers income.
