Current status and prospects of selfpropelled spray bar sprayers based on 3C certification

With advancements in the research and development of plant protection machinery, selfpropelled spray bar sprayers have become one of the most crucial components in this field, and their certified products are constantly changing and improving. This paper aims to summarize the current development status of 3Ccertified selfpropelled spray bar sprayers. Over the past three years, there have been 1 366 newly added preliminary or expanded products for the mandatory certification of plant protection machinery, with selfpropelled spray bar sprayers constituting approximately 70% of this total. Policies such as subsidies for agricultural machinery 3C certification have spurred the development of new products and technologies for certifying selfpropelled spray bar sprayers in China, thereby facilitating the practical application of technologies like multisystem separate control, prevention of liquid interference, drift prevention during spraying, calibration of spray width, and variable control. This paper analyzes the development trends of certified products for selfpropelled spray bar sprayers, indicating a progression towards high efficiency, intelligence, green environmental protection, safety protocols, multifunctionality, and enhanced adaptability in the future. In order to promote the healthy growth of the selfpropelled spray bar sprayer industry, it is proposed to  increase policy support, strengthen research on certification systems, intensify government supervision, improve product operational quality, and actively participate in international cooperation. This paper provides  a reference for the research development and practical application of plant protection machinery.

Development status and prospects of compulsory product certification for plant protection machinery

At present, there is relatively little research on mandatory certification of plant protection machinery, and the relevant literature is outdated. With the development of plant protection machinery technology, changes in the implementation regulations and detailed regulations of mandatory certification, and the needs of market development, relevant literature and materials can no longer meet the existing needs. This article summarizes the current development status of mandatory product certification for plant protection machinery in the past twenty years. Since its implementation, the 3C certification system for plant protection machinery has continuously developed and improved, including the implementation regulations of 3C certification, the detailed regulations of 3C Certification, the 3C certification product scope and certification unit division, designated certification institutions, and designated laboratories, and has become an effective measure for mandatory quality supervision and management of plant protection machinery. The 3C certification of plant protection machinery has shown significant results: the number of certified enterprises has increased rapidly to a basically stable level, the product structure of certified plant protection machinery has been continuously optimized, and the product quality of plant protection machinery has been continuously improved, providing favorable support for the implementation of agricultural machinery purchase subsidy policies. There are still some problems in the development process of 3C certification for plant protection machinery, including that the classification management of certification enterprises needs to be further improved and refined, the difficulty in defining the scope of new product certification products lags behind, and the 3C certification basis standards lack environmental safety requirements. Based on the development of plant protection machinery, the development trend of 3C certification is proposed, such as that certification enterprises are implementing hierarchical classification and differentiated management methods, certification units are constantly refined, intelligent inspection projects are increasing, certification basis standards are constantly improved, international market recognition is enhanced, certification agency supervision is constantly increasing, and designated laboratory testing capabilities are continuously enhanced.

Present status and prospect of mechanized production of Rhizome Chinese herbal medicine in Gansu Province

 Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) is one of the characteristic industries in Gansu Province. In recent years, the national industrial policy has shifted to characteristic industries. The area of Chinese medicinal plants in Gansu Province is increasing year by year. Planting CHM has become an effective way for the vast rural areas and farmers to get rid of poverty and become rich. The demand for the mechanization of the whole process of CHM production is increasing. Through literature review and field investigation, this paper summarizes the current situation of mechanization research and application from the aspects of tillage, planting, management, harvesting and other operational links, combined with the key cultivation agronomic techniques of authentic Rhizome Chinese herbal medicines such as Angelica sinensis, Codonopsis pilosula and Astragalus membranaceus. The problems existing in mechanized production were analyzed. Such as the planting area of CHM was mostly hilly and mountainous, which was scattered and small. There were many varieties of Rhizome Chinese herbal medicines and the planting methods, and cultivation agronomic requirements were more complex, so it was difficult to integrate agricultural machinery and agronomy. There was poor operation quality of CHM equipment in key links, the rate of return on investment was low, and farmers enthusiasm for purchasing was not high. The existing CHM equipment had low technical content, lack of innovation, and was easy to be copied, and enterprises had low enthusiasm for the mechanized research and development of CHM. This paper puts forward the future trends of largescale development of Chinese medicinal materials industry, standardized development of planting mode, highquality and efficient development of key link machinery and tools, and leading development of Chinese medicinal materials machinery production enterprises, in order to provide reference for the research and development of CHM production equipment, and help the further development of CHM industry.

Research progress of mechanization technology and equipment of soybean and corn strip compound planting

The promotion of soybean and corn strip compound planting mode is one of the important measures to revitalize domestic soybeans and increase oil production capacity, which can effectively alleviate the difficulties of Chinas soybean dependence on foreign countries and high import pressure. Based on the analysis of the promotion and implementation of soybean and corn strip compound planting mode in southwest China, Huanghuaihai and northwest China in 2022, this paper summarizes the current status of mechanized technology and equipment for soybean and corn strip compound planting in each region. It is proposed that the problems faced by the mechanization of soybean and corn strip compound planting mainly include the lack of special tools for herbicide spraying and harvesting, the serious shortage of existing available production equipment, the low quality of mechanical operation, poor applicability, and nonstandard operation of machine operators. In view of the existing technical problems, the phased development suggestions of mechanization technology and equipment for soybean and corn strip compound planting production in China are put forward, and the method of first partial and then all, easy and then difficult is gradually promoted, first solving the problem of mechanization in Huanghuaihai and northwest China, and then conducting research and development for hilly and mountainous areas to realize the whole process of mechanization in most parts of the country, and finally comprehensively using electronic information and sensor technologies such as autonomous navigation assistance driving technology, autonomous avoidance technology and remote sensing telemetry technology to improve the mechanization technology level of machine tools. It provides a reference for promoting the comprehensive mechanization and highquality development of Chinas soybean and corn strip compound planting mode.

Application and research status of harvesting mechanization of Rhizome Chinese herbal medicine

In recent years, the growing global demand for Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) has led to a continually increase in planting area under CHM, and the demand for harvesting machines for Rhizome Chinese herbal medicine (RCHM) enlarges. At present, the harvesting methods of RCHM in China are still mainly manual harvesting and small & mediumsized excavator harvesting. The low level of mechanization and low production efficiency have seriously restricted the development of CHM industry. This paper briefly describes the current situation of planting CHM in China, and comprehensively analyzes the application and current situation of harvesting mechanization of RCHM, as well as focus on the research on the key components of excavation mechanical structure, separation mechanical structure and conveying mechanical structure. The main existing problems of RCHM harvester is summarized: the integration of agricultural machinery and agronomy is insufficient, the enthusiasm for developing combine harvesters is not high, lack of systematic research on harvest rate and damage rate, and lack of research on intelligent regulation technology of harvesting operation. This paper expounds lowconsumption and deepexcavation technology, flexible and low loss technology and intelligent control technology are the future development trend of mechanization of RCHM in China. In order to provide reference for the research of RCHM harvesters, so as to promote the further development of harvesting mechanization of RCHM.

Experimental research on applicable performance of intelligent feeding equipment for river crab culture

In the process of shrimp and crab breeding, the feed was thrown along the pond and manually rowed, which could not be fed evenly. There were some problems, such as low feed utilization rate, low feed operation efficiency, affecting the water quality of the pond, high labor intensity, large randomness of feed throwing, poor distribution consistency and uniformity, etc. The operational performance of pellet feed spreading UAV and intelligent feeding ship was tested by measuring the feeding ability, feeding damage rate, maximum feeding width, route planning ability, driving trajectory accuracy and endurance ability of autonomous control mode. The efficiency of machines was tested by measuring productivity, feeding efficiency ratio and economic benefit. The test results showed that the feeding capacities of the pellet feeding UAV and the intelligent feeding ship were 2.04-35.10 kg/min and 0.75-3.02 kg/min respectively, their average damage rates were 0.28% and 2.07% respectively, their average maximum feeding widths were 14.85 m and 10.402 m respectively, their route planning abilities were automatic planning and manual planning respectively, their maximum horizontal yaw distances of travel trajectory accuracy were -0.17 m and -0.73 m respectively, their shift hourly productivities were 7.918 hm2/h and 3.841 hm2/h respectively, and their feeding efficiency ratios were 53.24% and -25.66% respectively, their average costs per square kilometer were 1 867.05 yuan and 5 244.6 yuan respectively. Both models carried out intelligent feeding operation of pellet feed. The pellet feed spreading UAV could continuously feed between multiple ponds without manual handling machines. The efficiency, reliability and transfer flexibility of feeding operation were higher than intelligent feeding ship and manual feeding operation. And the UAV operation was not affected by the shape and size of pond, water and grass coverage, oxygenation pipeline, wire arrangement, etc. The intelligent feeding ship could carry out feeding operation in rainy, windy and other bad weather. The duration of operation was long, and charging once could meet the feeding operation on the same day. Feeding and pesticide application could be completed at one time.

Design and experiment of crawler selfpropelled ridging and fertilization combined machine for strawberry

In order to solve the problems of high soil moisture content in strawberry planting season in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River, such as Jiangsu and Anhui, easy slippage of traditional strawberry ridge machines, insufficient ridge height, low efficiency, and single function, a tracked selfpropelled strawberry ridging and fertilizing machine was developed. The machine was powered by the rubber crawler chassis. It adopted furrow setting for soil cultivation, ridge forming device for soil gathering, and the comprehensive ridge raising technology for ridge copying and suppression. It used the layer fertilizing device to complete the layer fertilizing operation of the ridge body. Through theoretical analysis and 3D modeling, the structural parameters of key components such as rotary tillage ditching device, ridge copying suppression device, and layer fertilization device were determined. The static fertilizer discharge performance test and field operation performance test of the machine were carried out. The test results showed that the coefficient of variation of consistent fertilizer discharge of each row was 4.32%, and the coefficient of variation of total fertilizer discharge stability was 3.45%. The average ridge height was 352 mm, the average ridge spacing was 943 mm, and the application alignment accuracy was 11 mm. The surface of the ridge body was smooth, and the furrows were clean, which can realize rotary tillage, ridge raising, and precise stratified fertilization of the ridge body in the opposite position and meet the agronomic requirements of strawberry ridge raising fertilization.

Current status and uncertainty evaluation of pesticide droplet particle size measurement technology based on laser particle size analyzer

The droplet size is an important indicator of performance evaluation of plant protection spray and work quality machinery. It is the key technical parameters to achieve pesticides zero-growth and precision spraying. The study of best biological particle size in pesticide use and the study of immersion models and fog droplets evaporation deposition models are related to the size of the fog droplet size. This paper summarizes the various fog droplets test techniques. The fog droplet diameter of Φ0.3 mm, Φ0.7 mm, Φ1.0 mm, Φ1.3 mm, and Φ1.6 mm are measured and evaluated. Analysis of the sources of uncertainty during the measurement process were performed. The results show that when the inclusion probability is 95%, the minimum expanded uncertainty of the measurement results is 6.63%, the maximum expanded uncertainty is 9.18%, and the average expanded uncertainty is 7.38%. The laser particle size analyzer is accurate and reliable in measuring the particle size of the droplets, which can meet the needs of the droplet particle size testing of plant protection machinery.
