Effect of molecular membrane cover coupled with biochar on ammonia emission reduction and maturation in aerobic composting

Abstract: To reveal the effects of molecular membrane coverage coupled with biochar on ammonia emission reduction and maturation in aerobic fermentation, this study used tomato straw and mushroom residue as raw materials, and used selectively permeable expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (E-PTFE) material molecular membranes with 5% biochar. A 33 day aerobic fermentation experiment was conducted on a laboratory scale (500L). The results showed that molecular membrane coverage coupled with biochar can effectively increase the temperature of compost materials, extend the duration of the high temperature period. Compared with the control group (CK) sample, the time when the seed germination index (GI value) of the Molecular Membrane Cover Coupled with Biochar group (T1) sample reached 70% was advanced by 12 days; During the fermentation cycle, the ammonia (NH3) emissions of the experimental group (T1) decreased by 34.8% compared to the control group (CK). Molecular membrane coverage coupled with biochar aerobic fermentation technology can effectively accelerate the fermentation reaction process and reduce NH3 emissions.

摘要: 为揭示分子膜覆盖耦合生物炭对好氧发酵氨气减排及腐熟影响,以番茄秸秆和菌菇渣为原料,采用具有选择透过性膨体聚四氟乙烯(E-PTFE)材料分子膜,添加5%生物炭,在实验室规模(500 L)进行为期33天的好氧发酵试验。结果表明:分子膜覆盖耦合生物炭可有效提高好氧发酵物料温度,延长高温期持续时间,相比于对照组(CK)样品,覆膜耦合生物炭组(T1)样品种子发芽指数(GI值)达到70%的时间提前12天;发酵周期内,试验组(T1)氨气(NH3)排放量比对照组(CK)减少34.8%。分子膜覆盖耦合生物炭好氧发酵技术可有效加快发酵反应进程,减少NH3排放。
